I think that October is such a fun month for us because there is so much going on. If you ask the kids it's probably their favorite holiday next to Christmas.
The neighborhood did our annual visit to the Maybe pumpkin patch. The kids get to pick pumpkins and go for tractor ride and then we decorate them with paint as a neighborhood.
We took a tour of the Bountiful police department where we saw their holding stalls, where they take 911 calls, took fingerprints, saw their cars and motorcycles and much more.
I hope they never end up in the back of a police car again!
Once again we attended the Bountiful Rec center Halloween Carnival. Jayda usually dances at this, but switched dance companies this year.
The ward carnival is a tradition as well.
Crazy hair day at Bountiful elementary. I guess you need crazy faces to go with the crazy hair.
The neighborhood has a Halloween party as well. We made play doh monsters, wrapped eachother like mummies and pinned the bowtie and glasses on the skeleton.
Last but certainly not least is trick or treating on Halloween night with Nani and Papa. Nani got into character this year and was a scary witch.
Bini figured out how to bite through the candy to figure out what was inside. She found her favorites and then went for those each time.
This was supposed to be her owl costume but she hated it. She tried to pull it off whenever it was on.
Movie date with dad to Hotel Transylvania 2. The first one is a favorite of everyone in the family.

September
Bentley had his very first day of preschool with Miss Mindy at Simon Says preschool. His Best friend Navy is in the class which was very helpful because going to school with a bunch of kids he didn't know made him very nervous. It took a few months for him to finally be comfortable.
Cousin Yaya got married to her sweetheart Tanner in Idaho. Jayda got to be one of the flower girls and Bentley was the ring bearer. Their favorite part was playing with their cousins and Bentley loved flirting and hanging out with all of Chandler's friends.
One of our most favorite trips we have ever taken was to Lake Tahoe with The Welch family. Neither of us had ever been here before and it was stunning. Our hotel was at the very top of the mountian and was basically hanging off a cliff. It made me nautious, but made for amazing views. Each day we would drive down the mountain to hang out by the lake at the beautiful beaches and hike.
Showing their strong muscles from such a long hike.
Bini turned 9 months old!
August
This is the face of a little girl who thought she wanted to try riding her new bike without training wheels but then changed her mind. I told her she had to try and she was just devastated. It was almost as if she was mourning over the loss of the two little wheels.
Bentley Clay turned the big 4. He got lots of ninja turtle gear including his own turtle helmet and bike.
We stayed overnight at a resort in Park City so we could swim and invited the Parker family to swim with us. We were lucky the pool was heated because it was chilly and we actually got rained out at the end of the night, but were able to swim again in the morning before we checked out.
Brave miss Jayda had eye surgery. It was the scariest thing we have ever been through and she was definitely nervous but was an absolute champion. Both of the muscles on the inside of her eyes were cut and re-connected. She had lots of people from the ward fasting and praying for her. They also dropped off meals and treats and presents for her. It was almost a second birthday for her.
This was a surgery doll she got to decorate while they explained what was going to happen.
Thank heaven for this wagon. It made all the difference.
Bees game with the Parkers and Stahelis.
L-3 had their work party at Thanksgiving point. We got to experience everything they have their including pony rides, petting zoo, curiosity museum and natural history museum. We spent the entire day there.
