I have absolutely HATED not having the Internet and the chance to write on our blog and keep up with everyone Else's. Not having the Internet at our apartment was fine but then my boss decides that work is really for work and absolutely nothing else and then I am left stuck in the 1900's with no Internet. So when we moved into our new home we tried to get our Internet hooked up again. Who knew it would be such a difficult process? It took another month to get everything worked out. Apparently we have "fiber optic" Internet connections. Sounds fancy doesn't it? Looks the same to me. We just had to buy a new modem. All grumbling aside, we are so happy to be all moved in and settled. We will hopefully be here for a good 5 to 7 years which will surpass my record of living in one place by a about 2-4 years.

Today is Sunday and for the first month we lived here, I took Jayda to church by myself because it started at 1 and Bryce has to be to work by 1. When we entered 2010 the time changed to 9 which I was really excited about because I wouldn't have to be a loner anymore. So he had a chance to come to church last week but this week he got a phone call and they needed him to come in early which means sucks for you, you're going by yourself again. Trying to keep Jayda happy and most of all quiet for 3 ours isn't the easiest thing but we made it through just fine and it is definitely worth it because there are some AMAZING teachers in our ward. Love, Love, Love them. After church Jayda was pretty ornery and I tried for a while to calm her down. Then I assumed it was because she hadn't really taken a nap. She usually doesn't on Sundays because of everything going on around her. So I put her in her crib which just fired her up even more. Ok, maybe she was hungry. I picked her up, made her a little bottle and rocked her to sleep within minutes. Then when I went to lay her back down in her crib I got something gooey on my finger. I looked down and there was a big chunk of green goo on my finger. (I will let you use your imagination with that one) It iwas also on her dress and her blanket that I had her wrapped up in. Gross. So now that she was asleep I had to change her sheets, her outfit and her blanket and then feed her a little more and luckily she went back to sleep. Stressful as the crying and poop and trying to figure out what was wrong was, it made me think of the movie Baby Mama. I highly recommend it, it is hilarious. The mom asks her kid "Is that chocolate or is that poop?" and then she licks it to find out. So her sister says "What if that had been poop!?!" She just shrugs and says, "I told you parenting is messy." So incredibly true. :) But a little poop never killed anyone right?
K-updating this blog is a little overwhelming in thinking about all of the things I need to catch up on so I am not even going to try. I am just going to post a few pics that highlight some of the things that have happened since I last wrote.
Jayda's cousins came to visit and you would think that first thing in the morning she would be afraid of all these little faces so close but she was just eating it up. She loves them!
Grandpa schow gave her a big flower, a tutu and some cute ballet socks so we had a little photo session.

Jayda has found her feet and loves to roll over. She can only roll in one direction so she just keeps going until she runs into something
Jayda's first Christmas was a blast. We definitely had a lot more of the Christmas spirit with a little baby around.

Bath time has become one of my favorite times now that she is not so fragile. She lets her little foot dangle in the water and just sits and enjoys the warm water.
I am not a believer in butt or other private part pictures so there is a strategically placed wash cloth in this pic. Bet you thought that was just a coincidence huh? JK Jayda will thank me one day for that. :)
